I
Can Write
All phases
"I Can
Write" is an ICT package which supports pupils in the writing
process and develops good practise in concentrating on developing
content first.
One element
of the program, "Writing", provides a framework for continuous
writing and is organised into different genres with a broad selection
of topics within each genre. Prompts and wordlist stimulate and
support the writing process and assist pupils to compose text in
a logical order.
The course will
show teachers how to make full use of this program and also how
to produce their own screens which will not only support work within
the Literacy Hour, but across the whole curriculum.

for colleagues returning to teaching who feel in the same position.
