Stress Management For Teachers

All phases

This one day course for teachers examines the causes of stress and gives suggestions for its management. The course aims to help participants:

• identify the signs and symptoms of stress;
• understand the stages of stress;
• understand how the stress response works;
• know what causes their own stress;
• know how to cope with it.

The format of the day will include presentations and activity based exercises.

Course leaders: Sue Johnson, Senior Educational Psychologist, and David Lumsdon, Educational Psychologist.
