Music Continuing Professional Development

We can provide exciting materials which can very easily be linked into all QCA planning to enhance music making in schools. A wide range of music courses is available during the day and after school, from recorder playing to training in the use of Sibelius and Interactive Whiteboards. Please consult the Music Teachers' Newsletter for all the latest details.

Musical Direction

The Music Service can provide a Musical Director and players for major occasions, such as the Ponteland Proms and Ashington Disney Proms. Many of these large-scale events have involved between 500 and 800 children performing to capacity audiences in large-scale venues such The Sage Gateshead and Newcastle City Hall.

Resources & Advice Centre
Schools, parents and the community increasingly need help with problems relating to all aspects of music education and music in general. Advice is given free of charge and without bias towards any particular retail outlets or individuals. Schools needing advice on purchasing instruments for curriculum music and how to manage and maintain resources can be assured of practical and cost effective help.
