Northumberland Music Service has been providing education concerts for over twenty years, with the aim of providing schools with a musical experience they will remember! Our present group, Black Friday, perform a lively mixture of TV and film themes, pop, jazz and classical music. The exciting, entertaining format of these concerts are always in demand, and we feel strongly that this type of event has been influential in the steady expansion of numbers of pupils taking up instruments

THE BLACK FRIDAY PACK

Class music teachers are asked to become involved in the Black Friday experience by preparing pupils for the concert. A pack of related materials, containing information about the band, the instruments and the music. The pack also contains related worksheets and ideas for composing, performing, listening and appraising at a variety of Key Stage levels.
